Solar PV Panels with ECO 4 Government Funding
Solar Photovoltaic (PV) panels produce electricity from the energy emitted by the sun and in doing so they provide your home with carbon-free and bill-free electricity.
There is funding available where eligible to be used towards improving the energy efficiency of our homes. Generally if your household income is less than £31,000 you may be eligible for a Grant under the scheme to improve the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of your home. If your property falls within bands D-G you may qualify for home improvement Grants, these include Solar Panels as well as further measures such as underfloor insulation and loft insulation for example.
Under the current Government Funded ECO4 Scheme there maybe funding available to households that do not receive income in the form of Government Benefits. Previous schemes only offered financial assistance to households claiming benefits.
