Yes. ECO 4 grant measures require a survey. There is no charge for the survey and they usually only take about 30 minutes. Once your application is proceeding we arrange the survey and all tasks for you.

Yes, usually government grants are available whatever your style of property. Homeowners or Tenants, there may also be local council home improvements schemes that we will be aware of. Depending on the circumstances you should be eligible.

Usually yes. Most tenants are able to receive utility funded grants so long as they have the landlord’s permission. Tenants of housing association and council properties are not usually able to apply for the grants as these are covered by other schemes. Please do complete our form however and we can advise.

No. The ECO grants are only available in England, Scotland and Wales. Similar schemes are offered in Northern Ireland by the Northern Ireland Sustainable Energy Programme.

The big 6 energy companies are obliged by the Government to make UK homes more efficient by offering grants and incentives to households. If they fail to meet these targets they receive hefty fines.

No. Different energy companies offer different schemes to different locations and to complicate things further they change as targets are assessed. There is no incentive for energy suppliers to help their existing customers, they are just required to offer funding.

We usually research first all options available to you by way of full grant or council scheme heating funding. There may be costs depending on the property and your circumstances. Your local assessor will advise the current level of grant funding available in your area. You will have all options available to you provided by us, without any initial obligation or cost on your part.

The initial enquiry usually takes up to a week for a surveyor to contact you and make an appointment. From there the whole process usually takes about two weeks for the measures to be installed.
